Pre-operative testing at Mend is available on both a cash-pay basis and insurance basis. For elective and cosmetic procedures, pre-ops are provided on a cash-pay basis. If the surgery is medically necessary, patients may use insurance; however, a credit card must be kept on file in the event insurance does not approve Mend to perform the pre-op evaluation. Patients are responsible for any charges not covered by their insurance.
